The CBI Mission

The mission of B’nai Israel as a growing, nurturing, inclusive congregation is to serve the spiritual, cultural, educational and social needs of our Jewish community.”

Youth Education Program

The goal of our youth education program is to instill in our children a love for Judaism and an appreciation of the values and ideals of our Jewish heritage. Our focus is on developing our students’ Jewish identity and their personal connection to Jewish tradition and to each other.
      • Sunday School:  Sundays from 10- 11:30 a.m.
      • Bar/Bat Mitzvah Classes: Provided when students are ready, they may be given additional personal training by Rabbi David White.

Adult Education

B’nai Israel is committed to the principle that education is a continuous and life- long activity. Programs and courses of study have been and continue to be developed for our adult members.
Our adult education program includes classes such as:

  • Introduction to Judaism
  • Torah and Talmud study
  • Rabbi White’s adult education, from Jewish Literacy by Rabbi Joseph Telushkin
  • Adult Hebrew class
  • Israel Archaeology

Yoga Nidra

Join our Zoom yoga class with Sarah, approximately twice a month on Sundays. Yoga nidra is an easy, pose-free way to slow down and recover from the stressors in your life. It calms the thoughts and improves concentration. It also improves memory and learning ability. Check our calendar for the dates.
