Sunday at Congregation B’nai Israel.
Children and parents arrive for Sunday School.
The Long Term Planning Committee is meeting in the Library, discussing future plans for our Synagogue.

The Rabbi is in the Sanctuary singing with the children.
The Website Committee is meeting to improve our presence online.
A hot dog picnic is going on in the yard, the children now are playing basketball, swinging on the swings and sliding on the slide. The parents are sitting around the picnic table socializing and listening to the laughter of their children. Congregant volunteers are tending to the garden, yard and flowers. Members are discussing points of the Torah with the Rabbi. Congregation B’nai Israel is alive and thriving.
We are people of all ages from around the world that have gathered here to create a community. We celebrate the good times and support each other in the difficult times. We are perpetuating the Jewish Community. Moses, speaking for God, told the Tribe of Israel as they were about to enter Caanan that they must perpetuate the Tribe. Each generation for thousands of years has handed the Torah from one generation to the next. Now we at Congregation B’nai Israel are doing our part to fulfill God’s command and perpetuate the Jewish Community. In this newsletter are announcements of upcoming events, parties, dinners, services and activities. There are so many ways to participate and be a part of this community. Pass me another kosher hot dog, I am having a good time.
